One of the most important global events dedicated to the world of haute couture has reached its 21st edition. The World Fashion Week took place in the splendid setting of Dubai, an unmissable appointment for fashion brands and for all those who want to know the trends, present and future, of the fashion world.
And the iSwiss Group, already present for some time with its own operational headquarters in Dubai, had the honour of being the event’s main sponsor. This year, the focus was on strongly felt themes, such as sustainability and using green materials even for haute couture creations.
World Fashion Week allowed many designers and major fashion houses to present their collections for next year to the public. Daring solutions in terms of style and renewed attention to the materials used: which must be of the highest quality but must also be sustainable. An orientation that seems to involve fashion production at every level: in this way, a sector that is so important for the world economy wants to contribute to an increasingly green world.
But World Fashion Week was also an opportunity to celebrate and reward innovation in fields other than fashion: in fact, at this very event, Mr. Christopher Aleo, CEO of iSwiss, collected two significant prizes on behalf of the Swiss banking and financial group: the first was the one that saw iSwiss recognised as the best banking institution for 2023, and the second the one that rewarded the group’s activity in the securitisation sector.
“Receiving such important awards on such a high-profile occasion as World Fashion Week amply repays us for all the effort and work we have put in as a group over the years,” said Aleo, after collecting the awards. “Our presence as the main sponsor for this event, in the incredible setting of Dubai, is meant to be a further demonstration of how iSwiss does not limit its activities to the banking and financial sector, but aims to promote the growth of society and the economy in all sectors.”
“As we have already done in the cultural sector, with important sponsorships in the field of art-house cinema, we want to do the same in the fashion sector. A driving sector for the economy of several nations, which is increasingly geared towards sustainable production and growth, with the utmost care for the environment and society.”
